This fair gave a good overview about the components, technologies and products for the realization of batteries for e-vehicles. The state of the art developments for charging solutions and here especially the cabling for currents up to 500A could be seen at Huber & Suhner. The cables and the connectors are liquid cooled to withstand overheating. See picture Hubert & Suhner, ChargePoint 500A and 1000V:.
Interesting was also the visit at VW. There at the booth a prototype of ID BUZZ was the visitor’s magnet. A talk with the product manager has made clear that VW is actually collecting all customer requirements to be able to assess the needs, synchronize the product development accordingly and be prepared to launch its new vehicle well prepared during 2021. I personally tested the rear seat arrangement in pleasant anticipation of the introduction of this new vehicle

Tesla Model 3 at the booth of supplier Caresoft.
The view over the steering wheel with missing instrument cluster. There is as in the model S a primary display in the middle of the dashboard.
